Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the appointment to
the post of Librarian of the Institute purely on tenure basis for the period of two
years only. 
1)  QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

The candidates applying for the posts should have the following educational qualifications
and experience 
Essential:

Bachelor’s as well as Master’s Degree in Library Science with 5 years experience in
College/ Institution library. 

Desirable:

Knowledge of computers, internet and other recent advances in library operation and
management.

2)   Duties and Responsibilities:

The Librarian shall be in-charge of the Central Library of the Institute and be responsible for
its planning, development, up-keep, up-gradation, maintenance and administration, and shall
work directly under the directions and control of the Director.  The Librarian will be
responsible for –

- Up-keeping & Maintenance of Library and Books;
- Initiating and up-dating e-library facilities;
- Procurement of essential and important journals and periodicals; 

- Procurement of books of latest technological advancements;
- General control of book issues, book bank, reference section reading room facilities
and other routine activities.

3)   SALARY: Negotiable
