Azim Premji University (being established under Government of Karnataka's Azim Premji University Act, 2010) will be an institution for learning and research in Education and other Development domains.


Experience & Attributes:

i. Relevant professional qualification ( preferably postgraduate)
ii. Extensive experience in the management of specific administrative units listed above.

iii. Analytical, evaluative and innovative skills with experience in the management and implementation of change

iv. Extensive experience in developing appropriate linkages between policy formulation and administrative implementation

v. Proven expertise in the management of significant human, financial and physical resources

vi. Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and lead teams to obtain high quality outcomes

vii. High-level interpersonal and representational skills

viii. Understanding of implications of current issues in tertiary education and a considerable capacity for developing effective institutional responses

ix. Good understanding of Indian and global best practices in educational administration

x. Commitment to equity and widening access to education
