Applications for the post of Library Assistant (on contract)
Library Assistant - 1 post (on contract)
Qualification: Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record. At least 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates should be familiar with usage of Library software and have experience in library computerisation/automation.
Age limit - 35 years
Emoluments - Rs. 22,500/- p.m. (consolidated).
Period of employment - Initially for 11 months, likely to be extended
Interested individuals may apply by sending their bio-data to reach IIT Hyderabad by 15st November 2010. Clearly mention relevant experience. Include attested degree certificate along with mark sheets of Intermediate and qualifying degree.
Selection Procedure:
A committee of faculty members will shortlist candidates based on their resume. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
