CAT-3: One post of Librarian in the National Seed Research & Training Centre, Varanasi
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with G.P. 2400/- (revised) (General Central Services, Group 'C' Non
Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
Vacancy: 01 (UR-01). Post is identified suitable for PH (OA, OL, OAL, BL & HH) candidates but
there is no reservation for them.
Age: Between 18 - 27 years (Relaxable for Central Govt. Civilian Employees by 13 years).
Relaxation for PH candidates will be 10 years.
E.Q.: i. Degree from recognized University.
ii. Certificate in Library Science from recognized Institute or equivalent.
I.P.:- NSRTC, Varanasi with All India Service Liability.
J.R.:- Incharge of Library and upkeep. To maintain the scientific literature, magazines and
other books to facilitate scientific personnel engaged in research as well as training
activities. Up-gradation and purchase of library books and journal as per the scientific
advancement requirement and need of the hour. Facilitate for on-line subscription of
books and journals at national and international organizations. Perform any other work as entrusted to him by the competent authority.
