Applications are invited for engagement of Project Assistant initially up to Dec., 2010 which is likely to be extended for one year to work under the project entitled "SAARC Abstracts on
Developmental Matters" sponsored by SAARC Documentation Center (SDC) at NISCAIR, 14 Satsang yihar Marg, New Delhi-ll0067.
1. Minimum Educational Qualifications : M.Sc/ B.E (OR equivalent) with Library and Information Science at Graduate level or MLIS (or equivalent) with Science at graduate level with at least 55%
Marks in Master's degree which is relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST candidates. An adequate experience of working in Library/Information unit of repute and exposure/experience of working in computerized environment with knowledge of library software including CDS/ISIS package is desirable. The assignment is for outside funded sponsored project..
2. Fixed Remuneration : Rs. 12,000/- (p.m.) Level II
3. No. of position : One
4. Age Limit: 28 years (Relaxation for SC/ST & OBCIPH as per Gal instructions) on the date of Walk-in Interview. i.e 24/9/2010
