range of R&D projects in marine chemicals, coordination chemistry, catalytic
transformations, membrane separation, solar thermal applications, marine algae,
stress tolerant plant, and stress genomics. The Institute has excellent
infrastructure by way of sophisticated analytical instruments, modern
laboratories, pilot plants, library, local area network and workshop.

Job description: The candidate will be responsible for interfacing with
scientists and assisting them with prior art search, drafting of patent
applications, replying to examination reports, maintaining the patent portfolio
and monitoring/following up on possible infringements.

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience: Ist Class M.
Sc./B.E./B.Tech. with minimum 3 years experience in IPR-related matters,
preferably in an R&D environment.

Desirable: Diploma/Law degree in IPR and/or related areas is desirable
