The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has undertaken a Project on Capacity Building in Disaster Management for Government officials and Representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies at the District Level.

Qualifications: Masters and PhD in Public Administration/Environment Studies/Political Science/Economics/Sociology/Geography/Development Studies, or related disciplines.

Experience: Minimum 5 Years of Work Experience in Disaster Management/ Environment Studies/ Development Studies

Tenure: 1 Year

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- (Consolidated) per month

Age: Below 60 Years
